New description:

 This issue started 6-1-2009.
 I turned on Pidgin, with all my accounts enabled. (AIM, MSN, MySpace, and
 Yahoo). Everything looked normal, but no AIM contacts. I then click
 Buddies -> Show -> Offline. Everyone showed up as Offline (Except the
 people online in MSN, MySpace, and Yahoo), but no AIM contacts. The AIM
 account was enabled. People on AIM can IM me, but I can not IM them,
 unless they IM me first. I then Uninstalled Pidgin, Deleted everything,
 except the logs in the "C:\Documents and Settings\John Doe\Application
 Data\.purple" I also deleted the "C:\Program Files\Pidgin" folder.

 I have reinstalled Pidgin. this problem is still occurring.
