Comment:

 The issue seems to have changed. I got rid of the second network with no
 real benefit, but after changing my MSN connection to use the "http
 method," I managed to get it working again - to an extent. The connection
 seems shaky, and I was disconnected several times after trying to add a
 buddy. AIM is still completely non-functional.

 Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to continue reporting on this issue.
 Deryni, how do I run this kind of test?
