 When using pidgin 2.5.6 on winXPsp3, messages from ichat using AIM as the
 comm. protocol, messages from the other party are black font with yellow
 background.  On the iChat client, my messages are black font with purple
 background.

 I have a stock pidgin configuration (no plugins/packs etc..).  I have not
 had any other oddities with regards to interoperability.
