 Hello!

 I use the PURPLEHOME environment variable on WinXP to put my profile to a
 safer place on my disk.

 So I defined
 PURPLEHOME=C:\my\profile
 and all files are stored directely in C:\my\folder



 Now I just installed Pidgin 2.5.6 and my settings seemed to be lost.
 Some investigation showed up that now everything ist saved in
 C:\my\folder\.purple now although I did not touch PURPLEHOME. Copying all
 files there solved my problem, but it's a bit annoying.


 So, is this a bug or a feature?
