 Currently there are very few logging options, and I have a few suggestions
 that might be useful.

 1) Conversations right now are labeled with the time they are begun, the
 time the conversation window is opened.  I generally leave open
 conversation windows all the time, and do not close them.  I would find it
 useful if they files were divided up simply by 1 file per 24-hour period,
 with a marker in the file for the window being opened or closed.

 2) I am not sure at what point log data is written to disk, but at some
 points I have had Pidgin crash, or my machine crash, and the windows that
 were open at that time were not logged.  If data were to be written to
 disk upon receipt, or at a fixed interval, that would protect against data
 loss of this type.  I have not experienced this recently, but as it is not
 consistent, I cannot be sure if this issue has already been addressed.

 3) It would be very useful if within the log reader you were able to
 change between directories, as of now the log reader must be opened from
 the main Pidgin UI, and it is opened on a specific directory from there.

 I apologize if my search prior to posting missed any of these issues, so
 if any of these have already been suggested or implemented, please do not
 take offense.
