 With tabbed IMs off, Pidgin creates each new chat room or conversation in
 its window, which AwesomeWM proceeds to tile. If you get several of these
 stacked on the same tag, Pidgin crashes with BadAlloc X error.

 I'm using the latest git checkout of Awesome master (git 1fe239e577d) and
 Pidgin 2.5.6 which I compiled myself (for debugging symbols). This also
 happens in the Ubuntu and ArchLinux official packages.
