 That's great to hear! (I'm not the author of these patches, but a MacOSX
 user who would love for these to be integrated into Pidgin.)

 Note that as a preliminary step, this relies on avoiding the X11-specific
 dependencies and using only GTK equivalents: this is ticket #2629 (also at
 [http://trac.macports.org/browser/trunk/dports/net/pidgin/files
 /gtkdocklet-quartz.diff MacPorts]). That's a small patch, could you look
 into that too?
