#9355: Unable to connect to MSN after resume from suspend

 When I resume my laptop after hibernating, Pidgin connects happily to
 xmpp, aim, yahoo, icq, but MSN refuses to connect with the following
 error:
 Connection error from Notification server:
 Reading error

 If I simply quit and restart Pidgin, it connects immediately.
