 It started a few days ago during regular use, but Pidgin would randomly
 start using 100% of the CPU and then locking up.  I was running 2.5.5, so
 I switched to a PPA of 2.5.6, which still caused the problem.  Then I
 compiled it from source, and the problem still exists.
