 I've been having the same problem for about a day now.  I added an entry
 in my Windows hosts file (C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) that to
 map scs.msg.yahoo.com directly to 66.163.181.166 and got in perfectly.
 Nice work around for now.
