 I've noticed that just today, Yahoo protocol refuses to complete
 connection, which means that it shows as connected in the accounts
 section, but I permanently have the 'connecting' icon showing and email
 checking does not work.

 Disabling and re-enabling the account does not help, nor does restarting
 Pidgin. Is there any chance that there has been a recent change to the
 protocol causing this or is it related to the above problem as the
 connection process seems to be incomplete?
