 I finally broke down and installed Windows Vista's Service Pack 2 last
 night.  Today I find Pidgin can no longer connect (at least on Yahoo!).
 The interface remains responsive, but the spinner that indicates progress
 on trying to connect is frozen.  It says "Available - Connecting" and sits
 there forever, or at least till I disable the account.
