New description:

 Got pidgin updated to latest version in Jauty Jackalope and in Vista to
 latest version. However this morning the buddy list was empty. By trial
 and error I recovered MSN, yahoo however does not seem to recover
 whatsoever. (Yes I tried all plugin settings etc, I pinged to solve that
 problem etc) But I think it is not just yahoo that is causing the problem,
 as in Jaunty and Vista the connection Icon does not connect, no matter
 what I read upon the subject or try to do in hopes that it will work.
