Comment:

 Pidgin only works properly with bouncers which behave ''exactly like an
 IRC server''.  efnet'#channel does not look exactly like a standard IRC
 channel, and this probably confuses Pidgin.  (I don't know that that is
 the problem, exactly, I'd have to poke at psybnc to find out.)
