 I have experienced this problem with 2.5.7. In addition to not being able
 to rejoin the original chatroom, I am unable to connect to ANY aim
 chatrooms from the same account (using a different account lets me join
 chatrooms without issues), regardless of method (including auto-join, join
 a chat dialog, etc.). There appears to be no error message.
