Comment:

 This is a bug in Pidgin 2.5.7, when the user sending messages is using the
 latest version of yahoo messenger (I don't remember the version number).
 We are supposed to send acknowledgment to the server or each message is
 sent again after 7 secs.

 This has been fixed in what would be Pidgin 2.6.0
