 Closed as duplicate of #9475.[[BR]]That problem is caused by 2.5.7, the
 Pager server is unrelated. You can't make the Yahoo servers do anything.
 The correct server for 2.5.7 is 'scsa.msg.yahoo.com'. The buddies not
 going offline issue has been fixed and will be in the next release. The
 older versions are available for download from SourceForge, you just have
 to dig a little to get there from the download page the pidgin site sends
 you to (the Pidgin link, then select downloads, etc.).
