 Eureka.
 I tried to install Yahoo Messenger while the problem with Pidgin were
 unsolved. Surprise! Yahoo Messenger could be installed but fortunately,
 the installer showed an error. I don't know how or why but riched20.dll
 was missing on my system. I downloaded fron the web. I couldn't install
 Yahoo! but I don't need anyway because I could install Pidgin 2.5.7.

 Anyway thanks a lot.
