 No one said we can't do. We've said we won't do it. And we won't do it
 because we respect the fact that people may use clients from more than one
 location, may use more than one client on different computers, etc. Which
 means that the less we push to be client-specific the more similar their
 buddy lists will look when the switch computers. The other client authors
 don't seem to care about this as much as we do, and/or care more about
 glitzy features than we do.

 We also believe that level of organization is generally not needed in an
 IM client and that there are other ways of doing things that work almost
 as well and actually stand a chance of working between multiple clients.
