 Glad there are others experiencing the same problems , that means a
 solution needs to be found and it's not about individual cases. I have
 some friends that have the same problem , too. Aliases work because they
 are stored on your harddisk , whereas the nicknames are taken directly
 from the server , as far as I know. It must have something to do with
 Yahoo changing the protocol.
