#8550: msn disconnect after geting contact list in Gnome 2.25

 can't login to msn server, and the msg on panel shows:
 Connection error from Notification server:Reading error

 I attached 2 logs from the same version of 2.5.3. The only difference
 between them is Gnome version. The one with the success(oklog) is in Gnome
 2.24. The one with failure(badlog) is in Gnome 2.25. It seems the server
 connection is suddenly disconnected when expecting the response from
 server of CHG command.

 Could anybody give me any hint to debug that? I'm kind of new to Pidgin.
