 I have no idea what causes the program to crash but whenever I leave the
 program running for an extended period (more then 24 hours), Pidgin will
 crash.  It runs fine upon restarting the program so I hope we can find
 some kind of solution for this.

 I'm not sure if it makes that much of a difference but I am running
 Windows 7.  However, I know others who are testing Windows 7 and use
 Pidgin without crashes.
