Old description:

New description:

 The Windows installer for Pidgin 2.5.5 created three Pidgin shortcuts on
 my Windows XP sp3 desktop. All three are zero bytes and choosing
 Properties indicates that they're not valid windows shortcuts. Also, they
 can't be deleted immediately due to the error "cannot read from source
 file or disk."

 The install otherwise completed without error and Pidgin is working fine.

 Update: After several minutes I was able to do a refresh of my desktop by
 pressing F5 and the failed shortcuts disappeared.
