 I have noticed this happens randomly and quite regularily. In the groups
 it shows X people online, where theres actually more than X. There is a
 particular friend that never gets counted.

 List of plugins installed:
 /usr/lib/purple-2/joinpart.so
 /usr/lib/pidgin/gestures.so
 /usr/lib/purple-2/psychic.so
 /usr/lib/purple-2/statenotify.so
 All plugins were disabled and the problem still ocurred.

 On Debian testing with KDE 3.5.10
