 Thanks for the GTALK explanation.  Personally I'd prefer to see GTALK
 since that is what I selected when I set it up.

 SSL Connection Failed.  Here is the debug information.  FYI:  I do have
 other XMPP accounts that use a corporate server for chating.  Hopefully
 they aren't colliding when behind the firewall.
