 (In the future, please provide comments rather than changing the
 description, and add screen shots etc. as attachments so that they do not
 disappear when the image server goes away.)

 It looks like your BNC is doing something strange with your nick, in
 forcing a re-nick, but we should really handle that.  Do you receive the
 "you have new messages" message properly?
