Comment:

 It's unlikely that pidgin will ever support built-in now playing, there
 are just too many combinations of music players to support.

 For those on Linux, I've written an external dbus script
 http://pidgin.im/~khc/now_playing.py.txt which works with rhythmbox and
 quodlibet. That's of little use to Windows though.

 You should probably contact the author of those plugins to fix whatever
 bugs that they may have.
