 I would like to see this opened as well. (using Pidgin 2.5.5)

 Pidgin seems to crash for me every single time if the user who I have been
 conversing with has sent me a message and enough time (a few hours) has
 passed before I try to answer with an offline message.

 I did create a debug log about this, there appears to be quite the loop of
 soap envelopes resulting to

 (18:33:24) GLib: MsgWaitForMultipleObjectsEx failed: The parameter is
 incorrect.
 (18:33:24) GLib: Too many handles to wait for!

 but i'll try to get a new log, this one has some jabber + other lines
 messing the readability (at least for me...)
