#8782: Bonjour usernames stuck in offline status when added to groups

Below is the log I took and others on the forum suggested filing a bug
report because that is what it looked like to them.

Basically, when using bonjour in pidgin clients show up and can chat fine.
If you create a group and move a user to a group it works fine. When
either client goes offline and comes back online, the client that has the
opposing bonjour user within a group fails to realize the client is back
online. The log shows that it picks up something about the client coming
back, but doesn't finish the proper procedure. Please let me know if this
is indeed a bug. If it is a limitation I need to start looking for
another option, since I need to have a grouping feature for bonjour.

 Thanks

Once Bonjour contacts are added to groups, they don't work properly next
time either client is restarted. From that point user remains offline.
