 I've tested your patch with pidgin 2.5.5-1 on Debian Testing/Unstable . It
 seems to crash sometime when I close service discovery, without adding any
 services. Unfortunately i didn't replicate this crash when i was running
 pidgin from console.[[BR]]

 Also I've made packages for debian witch include your patch.
