 Disable the alerts where? Are you talking about popup boxes near your
 system tray/notification area?

 You can hover over a status in the selector and hit delete/backspace to
 remove them, otherwise they will disappear when pushed out by newer/more
 frequently used statuses.

 In general this isn't a support forum for random questions, this is a
 ticket tracker. Your questions would likely be better handled in the irc
 channel, the xmpp muc room or the support mailing list.
