 If I post an address to someone containing www.blah.com pidgin seems to
 translate it to the other end as http://www.blah.com

 This may be intended to be helpful, but in some cases, when talking about
 a ftp server for instance I will get replies back such as:

 Rachel: I told him to FTP to www.foo.com but he says it brings up the
 webpage lol.
 Stephen: you did put http in front to be fair
 Rachel: no
 Rachel: pidgin just did that now
 Stephen: oh right

 I do not believe pidgin should alter messages in any way when sending
 them.

 I also tested this by messaging myself:

 (12:42:07 PM) Rachel: www.google.com
 (12:42:09 PM) Rachel: http://www.google.com
