 I cannot add MSN buddy with my Yahoo! account in Pidgin.

 While you can do this in official Yahoo! Messenger client by specifying
 buddy's network (Yahoo!, MSN, or LCS).

 Instead of introducing new GUI elements in Pidgin's "Add Buddy" dialog and
 new API argument (see ticket #1591), I'd like to propose a small change in
 libyahoo:

 Detect buddy name pattern and set YahooFriend::protocol automatically.

 Specifically, when buddy name is an email address (i.e. contains an "@"),
 its protocol is set to MSN, otherwise leaves it as Yahoo.

 This is not a 100% perfect solution but I guess it can satisfy most of the
 users' need.
