 Could you add a function to pidgin to allow a quick news feed / or a
 2-second survey to go to a large group of people (e.g. a team in a work
 envirnoment) in one go?

 For example, the boss sends a survey:
 "Do you like ice-cream? yes or no" and based on the responses goes and
 buys an ice-cream for everybody who wants one.
