 I had Pidgin 2.5.5 with about 53 different accounts configured and after I
 installed Pidgin 2.5.6 (without manually uninstalling Pidgin 2.5.5, either
 from the Windows Add/remove functionality or RevoUninstaller), I now
 receive a message that makes me believe the accounts I had configured in
 Pidgin disappeared: "Welcome do Pidgin! // You have no accounts enabled
 (...)".

 Did they disappear (which means I have to set them one by one again), or
 the new version of Pidgin now uses a different file to store their
 settings and I can recover them?

 If the answer is the latter, how can I recover the settings from my
 accounts?
