 I just updated to 2.5.6 this morning, launched it and got a disconnect
 after a while (around 20 mn).
 I'm going to set the log, recreate the problem and send it along.

 This problem never occurs when I use the gtalk Javascript gadget available
 from the https gmail page in Firefox (that's what I've been using to work
 around the Pidgin disconnect problem).
 What's the trick they use? Couldn't we ride the same?
