 Yesterday I was disconnected from aim and Live messenger shortly after
 logging in, and I still cannot log back in today. I receive "Connection
 error from Notification server: Unable to connect." for Live Messenger and
 "Could not connect to authentication server: Connection timed out." for
 AIM. I have tried updated Pidgin and I have not installed any plugins or
 modified any files.
