 I use pidgin 2.5.5 and Gentoo Linux.

 I doesnt try to reproduce that yet.

 1. start pidgin
 2. chat with a contact over icq
 3. plugin in my phone and mount my phone card
 4. send a file from the phone card to the icq contact
 5. unplug the handy hardly from pc
 6. pidgin just close itself without any notice
