 If you were using the New Status dialog, have you completed both the
 "Title" and "Message" fields when creating a new status message? Because
 only "Message" counts as the actual message, the "Title" is only for you
 to name your saved messages, it won't appear as a status message.

 As for simply typing in a message maybe is required that you press Enter,
 and you forget? Don't know, just guessing...
