 The pidgin client crashes with the following scenario:

 1) Email notification shows unread mail
 2) disconnect and reconnect
 3) Email count of unread mail is double counted (and so forth on further
 disconnects)
 4) Click on the email notification and in the window showing "Open all
 mail" you select any entry.

 I run pidgin on Fedora 10
 $ uname -a
 Linux localhost 2.6.27.21-170.2.56.fc10.i686 #1 SMP Mon Mar 23 23:37:54
 EDT 2009 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
 $ rpm -qa | grep pidgin
 pidgin-2.5.5-1.fc10.i386
