 When closing the conversation window with a Bonjour contact Pidgin crashes
 with SIGSEGV.

 Tracing suggests problems with XML parsing.

 As my dumb luck needs that colleagues on the network don't crash although
 they use pretty much the same setup.

 I am attaching a gdb log of a short session demonstrating sending a single
 word message to a colleague and closing the window.
