Comment:

 Closed as duplicate of #8830.[[BR]]Debian sid still doesn't have the fix
 for libxml2 (at least, [http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
 bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=522669 my ticket (#522669)] is still open) so even
 with the workarounds in Pidgin, it will still crash (and there's nothing
 more we can do).

 Until an updated libxml2 or libraptor2 make it into sid, you will need to
 remove either gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad or manually remove
 libgstladspa.so.
