 So by "I can send and receive messages to other users" you can send to
 buddies on other protocols from other accounts of yours? Ok.

 Does the Help->Debug Window say anything interesting when you try to send
 a message to the Yahoo! buddies? Can you correctly send a message to *any*
 Yahoo! buddy?
