 Chinese characters in receiving messages are not showed properly in the
 chat window but everything is fine in chat log. It seems that no such
 problem exists in 2.5.5.

 System: windows XP SP2
 Default system language: English
 Non unicode: Chinese(PRC)
 GTK : tried both Chinese and English but neither works properly
