Comment:

 Over the years a number of themes (specifically theme engines) have been
 known to cause problems. Please try a number of other themes that you have
 available (specifically ones that aren't using the Clearlooks theme
 engine) and see if the problem goes away and let us know.

 I'm curious if this might be theme-related as it appears to be crashing
 rather deep in X/GTK+, if it isn't I'm not sure what else it might be
 offhand.
