 What alias exactly is changing? For the collapsed contact pidgin will
 display the alias of the ["wiki:Using
 Pidgin#IgroupedmybuddiesintocontactscanIcontrolwhichoneisselected"
 priority] buddy (or the contact alias if you have set one), is that what
 you are seeing?
