 After updating my Ubuntu from 8.10 to 9.10 I'm not receiving any incoming
 ICQ messages whereas the "user is typing..." notification still appears
 when a contact is typing in some text. Outgoing msgs are sent out and
 delivered to remote users without any errors.

 Empathy IM client works fine on the same PC.
