 Is pidgin consuming CPU when frozen or not?

 When pidgin freezes, please attach gdb to the process (something like "{{{
 gdb -p $(pidof pidgin) }}}" ) and get a backtrace when it's frozen.

 If pidgin ''is'' consuming CPU, also attach strace for a few seconds
 (something like "{{{ strace -p $(pidof pidgin) 2> strace.log }}}" )
