Comment:

 The tooltip and the Get Info dialog are not identical items and can
 contain differing amounts of information so the existence of the one is
 not a reason to ignore the other (though Get Info certainly is of minimal
 importance for most people).

 Do you really expand contacts with enough frequency to need quick access
 to it? What are you expanding them for? We already expand contacts if you
 hover over them while dragging a buddy (to facilitate combining them),
 also left-clicking anywhere in the expanded contact should collapse it, so
 the ease added here is really only for expanding.
