 Does anyone who is experiencing this issue with reasonable repeatability
 build their own pidgin or is anyone willing to do so (to try out the
 simple patch I'm attaching which just logs the size pidgin receives, to
 see if we are in fact being given the "wrong" size when pidgin is started
 with the session)?
